Summary: Self-help with a faux-physics twist
Comment: The physics in the book is a steaming pile of nonsense. Quantum mechanics in no way or form backs up any of Ray's theories. Find in introductory book on the subject and see for yourself!
Aside from that, this book is poorly written, chock full of unnecessary hyperbole and personal anecdotes which often don't prove the point he is trying to make. I would give this one star except that it does have some decent self-help psych up discussion. In terms of actual advice he does give a few such as 'stop watching tv and go do something productive' and 'eat a healthy diet and get plenty of exercise.' Wow, do we really need fake physics to get us motivated to get off the couch? I guess so!
As a practical matter, he doesn't seem to be all that great at using the "Law of Attraction" himself. He mentions numerous personal failures and difficulties, such as his lover leaving him, and business not going well. According to this logic, he must have attracted these!
Oh yeah, this book is also a big pitch to attend one of his "Harmonic Wealth Weekends," which run $1,000.

Summary: lots of flash; little substance
Comment: Mr. Ray is undoubtedly charming, utterly charismatic ... but conscious and spiritual? Don't think so. This man is driven by that most basic of human and certainly American motivators...e.g. money. I have no objection to money, per se, but the presence of greed takes it to an entirely different level. Mr. Ray is primarily a shameless self promoter and saw an opportunity to make big money in the "field" of spirituality. All of the content is simple repackaging of the work of other far wiser and truer individuals who preceded him. Don't drink the kool aid!!!
