Summary: Works OK for laptop display, so-so for dual monitor setup
Comment: Seemed to work well pm my Dell laptop display. A 2nd monitor (Samsung 225BW) in a dual-monitor setup (under Vista) wasn't that close a match to the primary display. Ended up returning the device since it didn't meet my primary objective (to have matching displays).

Comment: Item works very well (better than previous Spyder2express). I received the correct item (not LT); however, it looked like it was drop shipped and not packed well.

The EODIS2 worked well with my ips wide gamut monitor. Based on previous reviews, I downloaded the newest software from x-rite and am happy with this products results.

Comment: I don't know what makes this version of product any different from the LITE version which is $70 less. I should return it and buy the LITE. The Eye-One calibrator worked well. I liked the process better than the SPYDER I used on my CRT. The software provided good instructions for use - which made up lack of install instructions. I ended up downloading most current files from website. The Display 2 is supposed to allow custom white point... didn't see that option. The options provided were more than adequate. Accuracy seems to be very good. For price of the LITE model I would rate it EXCELLENT... for extra cost for Display 2 model I would rate it as GOOD due to extra cost.

My Spyder was for CRT only... needed calibrator for LCD. Most reviews rate Eye-One better than Spyder. (at lease more consistently better) I would recommend this product - but buy the LITE version. I'm a graphic designer (19 yrs) and need my monitor to match SWOP standards in commercial printing. I set white point to 6k - hard to get LCD's much lower - they tend to be bright. Had to turn my Bright to 0.

Summary: Competively priced, easy to use, and best yet, it works!
Comment: I bought this after taking some photography classes and after attempting to print some of my images. One of the most difficult tasks of modern photographers is to get the print to accurately reflect what is seen on the monitor. If the monitor doesn't accurately reflect the working profile of the image, forget it! So I took the plunge, after living with a monitor that was close, but not quite right....I never was sure exactly how it wasn't quite right, or what to adjust, let alone the combination of the adjustments needed! There are just so many factors to tweak. This software, and the calibration device that sits on the screen did it all for me, all during the time it took for me to make a cup of coffee.
