Comment: I love this! I'm able to make my own ringtones and add all the pics I want from my computer! I can crop them and fit them to full screen on my phone! It's great! Makes me feel my Razr isn't out-dated afterall!

Summary: Great Tool for Moto Phone Users
Comment: I use the Moto Phone Tools not only to back-up my phonebook but to transfer pictures/music on and off the phone. I don't take many pictures with my phone but I do create some Wallpaper scenes for the background of my phone that I can then transfer over. I also create a lot of MP3 ringtones that MPT allows me to transfer over to the phone.

The back-up/restore came in very handy when I updated to a V3 Razr from a V400. MPT allowed me to transfer the phonebook I had saved off my V400 over to my new Razr, saving me a lot of time.

This will come as Version 4.5 that will update to version 4.6 and later update to version 5 if you desire. I think some of the older phones are not supported with version 5 so I haven't updated it to that yet.

If anyone needs to know where MPT stores the back-up it creates here it is: c:\docs & settings\[userid]\local settings\application data\bvrp software\motorola phone tools\backup\[profile name]\contacts.csv

For the price this can't be beat!

Comment: I got this to expand the capabilities of my Motorola Razr V3. It took a long time to set up on my computer and was not easily intuitive. The program functions fine, I can download my photos from my camera, create new ringtones, etc, but the program is somewhat clunky. It works fine, but I would never recommend anyone spend more than about $5 on it.
