Customer Rating: Summary: Good rice, lasts a while but husband tastes the difference Comment: This rice is very good and great for all sorts of dishes, I think. The cook time is slower, of course, than instant or 5-minute rice, but you get a better-quality rice. The Jars last a LONG time, so this 4-pack is almost unnecessary!
The one complaint actually comes from my husband who feels the rice tastes too "oat-y". I admit you can taste that its NOT white rice, but in dishes, I don't think you can tell the difference. However, if you are making this to eat plain, yes, you will taste the difference between this and white rice. If you like the taste of brown rice, however, you'll be just fine. These people Are NOT Trustworthy !!! ~::~ Customer Rating: Summary: Tasty and good for health Comment: thats all I have to say...tasty and healthy (in nice convenientand reusable container) for a decent price Customer Rating: Summary: Delicious Comment: I bought this on a whim about a year ago, and I've never had white rice since. Great food and great for your body. Customer Rating: Summary: Good, but not the best Comment: Although I prefer Lundberg's organic brown rice -- it has a more distinctive, wonderfully nutty taste -- it's hard to beat the convenience of these 36-oz jars from Amazon. I can cook a whole jar (about 5-5.5 cups) in my rice cooker, with good results. If Amazon ever starts stocking the 32-oz bags from Lundberg's, though, I'd switch.
