Summary: the real thing
Comment: Not always happy, not often happy, this takes you inside news photography. This is the journal of NPPA. Some of the stories are feel good, some are gut wrenching sad - bloated Jonestown bodies. Great member services, slight PC...stuff. Weegee would have used this publication as a tool and evidence of brotherhood among those who do news photography. PDN is a similar publication for a slightly different emphasis. Suggest you join NPPA ( magazine comes with membership ) and subscribe to PDN. PDN and News Photographer are the real thing.
