This exciting follow-up to the hit Disney Channel Original Movie ZENON: GIRL OF THE 21ST CENTURY finds Zenon (Kirsten Storms, TV's DAYS OF OUR LIVES) and Nebula (Shadia Simmons, QUINTS, THE COLOR OF FRIENDSHIP) in the middle of another far-out predicament! After a purely innocent accident of gigantic proportions, Commander Plank assigns Zenon to the most boring job in the world -- working in the Alien Patrol Room. It's hyseteria major because aliens never contact them. But before you can say, "Cetus-Lupedus," Zenon's bummer assignment has morphed into an out-of-this world adventure to help homeless aliens!

Summary: I'm ashamed to admit it but I like it
Comment: This is one of my guilty pleasures. I like it but I have some major problems with it. First one being the change in the spay-stay. Every thing has changed despite it being only a year or two since the first movie and one of the themes of the movie is how the space station has deteriorated to the point it may have to be shut down. Doesn't have the flare of the first movie and of course Gregory's gone and Z's parents are different. I hated Margie in this movie especially how she overtook Neb's role as Z's BFF. Yes Raven isn't playing her but at least stay true to the character and show her more. The Margie-Nebula issue is my biggest problem with this movie. Margie is annoying and I wish she wasn't in the movie. Besides that the movie is pretty good for a sequel and the song "The Galaxy is Ours" is a cool song.

Summary: We All Wish We Were Zenon
Comment: I've watched this movie SO many times back when it aired on Disney, and I've watched its predecessor and successor as well. It's obviously a Disney movie, made for the 8-to-15 age range, but for someone like me who's into space exploration and future technologies, the movie surpasses the age barrier. It obviously has some pitfalls for older viewers, particularly the that's-too-easy plot line and some of the more embarrassing catch-phrases that the writers created for use as "space slang," but there are also some fantastic space elements in the movie. The costumes used are AWESOME -- I wish that stuff were in fashion, because I'd be wearing it everywhere. The space station sets are futuristic in a realistic sort of way that makes you think, "If I had to imagine what a space station would look like in 50 years, I think that'd be it." It's not going to win any awards, and its plot is a little less than stellar, but this movie is my guilty pleasure. Whenever I'm feeling the blues because I'm stuck here on boring old Earth, I'd pop in my Zenon: The Zequel tape and let myself get swept away in the fun, futuristism, and yes...even the slightly cheesy space-age slang. :D

Comment: Its not as good as the original, but not as bad as the third. I love Kirsten Storms so much. After Zenon she was a special guest on Kim Possible and That's So Raven. I hope they make a fourth movie. It may not be as good though I mean what would the story be? I don't care I would still watch it. LOL! Back to Zenon The Zequel..... I don't like the replacement for Nebula. Shadia Simmons (The Color Of Friendship, Quints, and A Saintly Switch)is not as good as Raven. But hey she is an ok actress. Well I reccommend this vhs. I hope they release it and the others on dvd soon!!

Summary: I LOve ZenoN!
Comment: I grew up on the Zenon movies. I have the first and recorded the third. I really want this one, too bad Raven is'nt in it. They used Shadia Simmons instead. She's the chick from The Color Of Freindship and A Saintly Switch. I highly reccommend this video. Hopefully it will be released on dvd soon.

Summary: Totally great MAJOR!
Comment: This movie is so cooooool! It's hard to tell what's better: Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century, or Zenon: The Zequel. The third movie is a disappointment. When I was done watching it I believe I just said, "Well, that was stupid!" I hope they make another one, but I hope it's not, "Inky to the tenth power square."
