Summary: Kinda awkward but good for Soul Calibur II. ^_^
Comment: We logged in countless amounts of time, sweat, tears and blood into that game! Animal Crossing and Super Smash Bros. were loved also. Mario Kart: Double Dash was good for multi-player.

Overall, it's not that hard to use but I agree the Z button is kinda hard to reach at times. The layout isn't perfect but it's better than some say.

Summary: Best Controller for Wii (GC & Virtual Games), Best Also for Gamecube
Comment: The Wii classic controller is a bit awkward and hard to use. Although it has an advantage of being wireless, you still need to attach it to the Wiimote (where it dangles like the Nunchuk). This is more of an issue when you play Gamecube games and some older downloadable virtual games when you need to press a combination of buttons to run and jump at the same time. Too bad, the jump button (on the Wii classic controller) is far from the run button and much smaller than the original design. For these reasons, the original GC controller is still the preferable choice.
I have used other 3rd party controllers and nothing can get close to the original Nintendo controller.

Pros:
- Perfect response. The most annoying thing that some 3rd party controllers are notorious to is snapping back to the opposite direction when you wanted to have your Pacman or Mario guy turn right or left.
- Perfect handgrip
- rumble effect
- Unlike the Nintendo "Wavebird", this is still available.

Cons:
- Wired
- Expensive, as Nintendo has almost abandoned the Gamecube console for Wii and very few are left.

Comment: it feels how it should fit in your hand it slopes alittle inside but that way it can fit right in.it's been dropped occasionally but not intentionally just when someoe would pick it up and then drop it on the ground.

Comment: I'm a huge video game fan. I can sit all day and play them and be in my own little world. I've enjoyed my Gamecube world and one of the reasons I have is because of one of the best controllers ever made.

The design for the gamecube controler is comparable to the N64. All the buttons from it are back are a more compact controller. Instead of a C buttons you have the C-stick. The directional pad is the smallest it's ever been and Nintendo has kep it's sacred A and B buttons. The built in rumble is great and the option to ditch it has been on every game I've seen and played.

The only knock I have against this controller is the Z button. The button is to close to the R button. I have big hands and it's hard to press it quickly sometimes. It really doesn't matter all the time and isn't that much of a problem but thats the slighest flaw this controller has.

Nintendo has made this controller small and sweet. It's comfortable to hold and it doesn't have buttons you won't ever use like other controllers systems.

Comment: The gamecube's controller is one of the best controllers if not the best.First the pros.It is small and easily fits into a person's hands.The R and L buttons feel like they're part of your hands.The C-stick is MUCH better than the C buttons on the N64.No longer will you fumble around with awkward buttons as you get slaughtered by enemies trying to fix the camera.To me,the Z button is still in a good position and doesn't need your hand to stop pushing other buttons to push it,although veteran gamers are pretty good at doing this process.The A button is more recognizable with it's largeness.The X and Y buttons are easily pressed and more recognizibale too,along with the B button.Now the bad things.The start button is small and hard to push without a lot of effort and because there are so many buttons,you might find it hard to find.The D-pad is also small,but luckily you won't have to use it much.The controller does feel small and weak and makes your fingers hurt when you move your hands to much.Finally,the sensitivity of the controller.Most buttons are needed to be pressed harder for them to work.Mostly,this only happens when you're used to the playstation 1&2 controller(like me)which are not supposed to be pressed to hard to be used.Overall,I give the controller a 4 out 5 second to only the ps2 control.
