Customer Rating: Summary: Decent and cheap Comment: This sustain pedal is decent, especially for the price. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and I haven't had any problems yet. The casing and the construction feel pretty solid, although that doesn't mean it couldn't crap out on me later, but it does seem well-built.
My only gripe with this is the same problem others have had, which is that the pedal does move slowly backwards as its used if you have it on carpet. This could probably be fixed by attaching the pedal to something, but I personally haven't gotten around to anything like that yet.
Overall, great buy for the price. Customer Rating: Summary: Fine product, great price! Comment: Pedal is well-built (steel, not plastic) and seems like it will last quite a while. It will get a great deal of use on stage. Customer Rating: Summary: Works Well, Strange Warning Comment: The sustain pedal arrived with a couple of days and certainly is a good price. It works just as advertised without any trouble at all. Plug and play.
There is a strange warning related to the product about making sure that you have the keyboard turned off when you plug it in, otherwise the functionality may be reversed (i.e., it'll sustain when not pushed and not sustain when pushed), requiring a reset process for your keyboard that apparently may or may not work. Quite a strange bug related to a product. Customer Rating: Summary: Sustain Pedal Comment: Not sure if I would purchase this again. It works of course but not like a real piano pedal. Customer Rating: Summary: Works; Worth the $ Comment: Works like it says it does; for the price, there's little room to complain.
However, note that I'm not a piano virtuoso or anything like that, so it's hard for me to compare this to other pedals I've used. Overall, this works just fine for me.
