Bob Seger has racked up a lot of worthy tracks over the years, but it took until 1994 for a greatest hits package to appear. Voilà. The bad news: We're missing an awful lot of songs here. Night Moves is Seger's crit-pick album, and a great place to start if you don't have any Seger at all. Next in the rankings is Stranger in Town. Otherwise, his highs are pretty scattered, which would make any best-of package a worthy investment. But if you want to get comprehensive, "Rock & Roll Never Forgets," "Fire Down Below," "Horizontal Bop," "Her Strut," "Betty Lou's Getting Out Tonight," and "Katmandu" aren't on this CD--and you'll have to go to the original albums to secure them. --Gavin McNett

Summary: Quick, perfect and the right price!
Comment: Originally I went through all the struggles attempting to purchase this CD from the eBay website. Even after all my efforts, I still did not end up with the CD in hand. Ordering it from Amazon proved to be a snap!! I also was certain that the CD would be in perfect condition upon receipt. Wish I had just ordered it from Amazon in the first place.

Comment: With the number of songs that Bob Segar has produced throughout the years it is difficult to get all of the songs I like one one CD, and there are a couple of songs that I would have liked to see.

The CD stills has so many great songs that it is easy to see why some songs may have been missed, such as Fire Lake which is one of my all time favorites of his, along with Turn the Page.

But the songs that are missing (at least to me) are available on the Greatest Hits, Vol. 2, so between the two of them the bases are pretty well covered.

Comment: The CD is really great. I had this CD in cassette form but I needed a cd since my cassette player quit working. If you are a Bob Seger Fan then this is a must have. It is great to listen too while working out it is mostly upbeat and keeps your energy level up.
If you buy this cd you won't regret it!
