Customer Reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Freedom from Fear Comment: Freedom From Fear is a great little book with a lot of wisdom. I enjoyed it so much I bought several copies to give to my friends and family. Customer Rating: Summary: Everyone Needs to be Mentored on Life's Lessons by Len Comment: This is a quick read that I completed in a couple days because I couldn't get enough of Len's mentoring. This book compiles many great lessons in less than 100 pages. It should be read and re-read every couple months so these lessons become burned in your subconscious so that you live by them daily. The book is filled with many one sentence phrases that can guide you to live life to its fullest every day and become a bigger and better person each moment of each day. Use it as a desk reference, a pick-me-up and have it near by when setting your goals. Now, I want to find a mentor just like Len. Maybe that will be the next book? We can only hope. Customer Rating: Summary: Great book...worth taking the time to read. Comment: Fantastic book...a quick read, but some very thought prevolking ideas & questions. Get your journal out, especially if you are looking to do some personal growth. This book is all about expanding your own limitations & boundries. Good stuff. Customer Rating: Summary: Reinforces basic good advice Comment: Freedom From Fear is the telling of a story of a guy named Steve who literally runs into a man named Len, who in turn becomes Steve's mentor and life coach, helping Steve step by step overcome his negative upbringing and attitude to gain a life free from fear. At Len's funeral, Steve gets a chance to meet the multiples of other people Len was able to teach and mentor over the years, and each chapter focuses on a particular lesson (reading books, staying positive, etc) that each person shares with Steve. The book does have a lot of good information and is fairly well organized, but some of that organization and information gets lost in the storyline. It does reinforce some of the main principles of many other self-improvement books, and each chapter ends with a short list of the main points the author wanted to get across, which helps those who lose the points or quotes in the reading of the story. Although this book is slightly confusing, it does have moments where it is uplifting. Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful, thought provoking Comment: Truly a book to be read by everyone who feels stuck in their circumstance, ready to make a change and begin to chase down their dreams. An easy read which you will find yourself going back to to draw out quotes and inspiration from.
